About this Wine
 
Showing perfumed aromas of fresh strawberry and cherry fruits along with floral rose and Turkish Delight notes. A perfumed dry rosè with flavours of strawberry and redcurrant along with fragrant spice, hints of ginger, fresh acidity and a persistent finish.

AROMA
A perfumed nose of rosewater, orange blossom, red cherry and hints of fragrant spice.
 
PALATE The palate shows fresh red berries, hints of watermelon and pomegranate along with citrus, Turkish delight and savoury spice. The wine has a refreshing dry finish.
 
VINEYARD
Sourced from a few sites, some old mature bush vines for depth and complexity along with some younger vines for bright fresh fruit flavours. All on loamy clay soils in the McLaren Flat subregion of McLaren Vale.
 
SEASON
The 2024 season started dry with warm days and quite cool nights meant a slow start to shoot growth, and smaller crops in some early flowering varieties. In midNovember the weather pattern changed to give us a lot of rain and some humidity, which helped with shoot growth and to improve crop levels. In early January the rain stopped thankfully, and we had dry conditions right the way through harvest, so disease pressure was low. Overall wine quality is very good.
